Land, Infrastructure and Transport Technology Fair 2019
The 2019 National Land and Transportation Technology Fair took place at KINTEX in Ilsan from May 29 to 31. The National Land and Transportation Technology Fair, an event in the field of national industrial science and technology, is hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The fair brings together new technologies related to land and transportation, offering a chance for company experts and others to gather, communicate, and interact.

The 2019 National Land and Transportation Technology Fair featured a variety of innovative technologies presented by several companies (institutions) including the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, the Korea Expressway Corporation, and the Korea Railroad Corporation. Notably, at the booth of the Korea Railroad Corporation, Globiz Inc.’s ‘vehicle defect early detection system’ was introduced as part of ongoing collaborative research. This system, known as the ‘CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) system,’ plays a crucial role in early detection of risks within railway vehicles, preventing accidents in advance, and establishing a condition-based maintenance system, significantly reducing maintenance costs.

Numerous visitors expressed their interest and various curiosities about the ‘vehicle defect early detection system’ introduced at this exhibition. With much attention focused on the know-how and technical skills of Globiz Inc., the atmosphere of the exhibition hall was even more heated.
